Rivalry Projects is excited to present LOVESICK, a group exhibition in our Project Space. LOVESICK includes artists previously exhibited at Rivalry Projects, as well as some new additions, to unfurl the nuances and pitfalls of romantic love. “Lovesick” as a state of being refers to a prolonged sense of being unable to function normally in the absence of one you love, however, we are also interested in the ways in which love turns sour, how love ends, and how people are brought together and driven apart through romance. We are also here to celebrate those who are without romantic partners and want to see everything burn when the world piles on romantic tropes of foreverness.
